Community Iftar Recap
Nov 3, 2026 · 1 min read
Last Saturday, more than 300 brothers, sisters, and children gathered at Masjid Baiturrahman for our community iftar. Families arrived early to help set up tables, and the hall filled with conversation and laughter as everyone waited for the adhan of Maghrib. The menu featured Indonesian favorites such as nasi kuning, rendang, and kolak, alongside dishes brought by families from many other backgrounds. After iftar, we prayed Maghrib together in congregation, and the children enjoyed a short Ramadan quiz with prizes. Jazakumullahu khairan to the more than forty volunteers who cooked, served, and cleaned up, and to the donors who sponsored the meal. Our next community iftar is this coming Saturday, and everyone is welcome to join us.

New Parking Lot Lighting Installed
Nov 3, 2026 · 1 min read
Thanks to your generous donations, new LED lighting has been installed across the entire masjid parking lot. For years, community members told us the lot felt too dark after Maghrib and Isha, especially for sisters, elders, and families with young children. The new fixtures are brighter, more energy-efficient, and switch on automatically at sunset. Together with the new security cameras near the entrance, they make it much safer to walk to and from your car during the evening prayers and late-night Ramadan programs. This project was fully funded by the community in less than two months. May Allah reward everyone who contributed, and please keep supporting our facilities fund so we can continue taking care of the house of Allah.
